IIS Manager gives you a grafical overview of your web.config file, giving you an easy access to change and adjust the IIS setup to your needs.

The informations need are the sam as to: Web Deploy.

This exploit are feeding on an error in a thumbnail resizer that are used in quite a lot of WordPress themes.

To help our customers, we have created a filter to hinder this kind of exploit.

We will however also reccoment ALL customers to make sure that they are using the newest version of WordPress, plugins and themes – also to ensure that your TimThumb file is 100 % up-to-date and secure, as well as to remove any harmful files on your webspace – as a result of a non-up-to-date TimThumb.

Safety first

All ASP Web Hosting spaces are now running on brand new Windows 2008 R2 (64-bit), IIS 7.5 servers, with a huge pile of RAM.

This will ensure extra speed and safety for all costumers.

Removing a couple of ASP components

As previously mentioned, we have been forced to remove all ASP components from ServerObjects, as they are not compatible with 64-bit OS and therefore will not recieve the required updates.

Removing Frontpage extensions

We have also been forced to remove Frontpage extensions from all servers but one.

Frontpage brings with a serious security risk for the one server and is not suported by Windows 2008 R2 (64-bit). We are however aware of the huge demand for Frontpage, which is why we have chosen to keep all Frontpage customers separated on one server. If you wish support for Frontpage, please contact customer support to get relocated to this server.

We recommend all customers using frontpage to use Web Deploy or FTP to upload files instead.

Web Deploy & WebMatrix

We have upgraded to ISS 7.5, which is why we can now offer full access to Microsoft Web Deploy and WebMatrix.

With web Deploy you can easily upload files to your Website and with WebMatrix you can install Umbraco and similar with just a few clicks.

New IP adresses

All ASP Webspaces have recieved new IP adresses, and is therefore located onto our new network. This will significantly improve the safety against network failure or attacks, as it will ofcourse supply you with a redundant 10 GBit connection to all our servers. Our internal systems has made sure that this is done automatically for all customers – and therefore most of you are properly not aware of this change.

We appoligize for any inconvenience this might have resulted in, and hope for you understanding. The changed will give a far more stable environment for ASP and ASP.NET hosting in the future.

All new and existing customers, are automatically participating in the competition for an iPad 2 16 GB, if they upgrade their domain to a Web Hosting space or if they buy a new before august 31st 2011.

Please notice that you are still eligble to register Web Hosting accounts at UnoEuro at just 1 EUR/month, and that it is completely free to relocate *.dk and *.se domains to us. Roundcube is our third Webmail interface, including SquirrelMail and Atmail5.

We are currently working on upgrading from Atmail5 to Atmail6, but we are not quite there yet.

This is also the reason for introducing Roundcube, as many users are not completely satisfied with SquirrelMails quite “modern” interface.
